Architextures
Yesterday I was walking down Amsterdam Avenue to do an errand and the wind nearly blew me uptown. I decided to obey it and turned around and went home. Whatever I was going to do could wait.
I’m sick to death of politics. I have lost all desire to contend, to justify, to explain, or to engage.
But I’ll explain the title: “Architextures.” This is bizarre but usual for me: the world goes zig, I go zag.
For months I seethed over that person.1 I spent hours mentally composing blistering eviscerations of her. I built cases, I downloaded evidence, receipts, proof.
Now I don’t care. And it seems the world has caught up with my loathing of her. Suddenly there are YouTube videos and X accounts mocking her stupidity, especially her mispronunciations.
Well whaddya know, I happen to like one of them: “architexture.” I think it says something, means something, and I wish I’d made it up but I didn’t, but I’ll use it and give the little monster credit.
Without further ado, here is some NYC architexture. The weather really brings it out..
Snow architextures
A local homeless guy made this
I looked up how Eskimos the Inuit make igloos. It’s quite technical and ingenious. That’s why I can never buy the stuff about European superiority. Could you do that? Maybe I’m secretly woke.
Candace Owens. I’m demoting her to a footnote, no further comment.

Yeah she’s a dumbass but what is especially disturbing is that there are thousands if not millions who think she is some kind of genius.
I must admit that I did not like when you were castigating Candace, but now that I’ve seen her true colors these last few months, I’m in agreement with you.
