Some of these people are just dumb - and some of them are distorting on purpose.
A lot of people do not understand the legal issues - rough rule of thumb, when the law is involved, consult someone with legal expertise. (Not Ann Coulter.)

It's crap.
It bears the same resemblance to reality as "Trump is banning books!"
Khalil's case is a banal, cut-and-dry immigration enforcement case. He either has supported terrorism or he hasn't
Hamas isn't a terrorist organization or it isn't.
All the rest is emotion.
He's pounding the table.
BUT thanks for bringing this to my attention because it's a dead giveaway as to the Left's game here:
Hamas isn't a terrorist organization, it's a legitimate liberation organization.
Israel is a terrorist country and supporting it is terrorism.
That's our future.
And soft-selling it as free speech and immigration interference issues is so deceptive and misleading.
They're doing it for a purpose.
