UPDATE: It gets worse. I must run but I was checking X, and …. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it gets worse.
Look at this. This must be wiped out. No coexistence with this.
I felt bad about yesterdays post about hating “Palestinians.” A commenter wrote:
“I try not to hate Palestinians and Muslims, not for their sake, but because hate eats you up from the inside.”
I answered:
“You’re right.”
I have zero patience for silly, whining, protracted internet arguments. Concede the point and move on.
It’s true: hate does eat you up from the inside. Hate hurts the hater. Mommy was right. (In my case, my aunt Elsa, the one who knew I.I. Rabi.)
So I was going to write about how to deal constructively with justified anger and hatred — and then I saw this.
It took my breath away.
No words are needed but here I go.
Yes, the “Palestinians” actually staged a show of transporting the caskets of the dead and gathered in hooting, jeering, exultant mobs. Delirious mobs. Have you ever seen anything sicker than this? I have not.
At this point in my life, I’m close to unshockable. I take no pride in saying that. It means you’re a bit ruined, doesn’t it? A bit too used to the rotten ways of the world. Stuff that made you gasp in your twenties elicits barely a yawn…
But this?
I’m now 99% positive they executed Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir, and they’re lying about them dying in an air strike. The November date is just too sus.
Again: I despise sterile internet arguments. At the beginning of the war there was an argument: who was worse, the Nazis or the “Palestinians”? The consensus was that it was the “Palestinians” because at least the Nazis had the humanity to try to cover up their crimes, while the “Palestinians” are proud of theirs. I really thought that was the dumbest, most sterile argument of them all, so I never said a word.
Well, I’ll say a word now. If you distinguish Nazis from Germans, the Nazis win the the prize for the worst guys ever. But not all Germans were Nazis. A lot of them were just get-along go-along schmucks. And as a people, Germans have many redeeming characteristics. That’s what made their crimes so inexplicable.
Same deal with the Japanese. Such an admirable people. So crazy during WW2, with that fanatic philosophy. Two sides of the same coin, no? The same genius that made them such brilliant artists made them zealous fighters to the death.
But the Arabs? And especially the “Palestinians”? I think they and their leadership are one big fat sick whole, and as a people, answer me: what have the Arabs given to the world in the last 900 years? What did they ever give to the world — they sucked up other people’s accomplishments and passed them on as their own. I give them credit for good taste, not originality.
More to the point, what have “the Palestinians” ever given to the world? Anything? Pita and hummus? They can have it.
How in the name of anything decent can people do this?
OK, you hate the Israelis, you want to see them dead and gone, you do whatever you can to get rid of them — but this? This sheer… I don’t have the words to describe it, so I’ll use the word indecency.
Indecency.
There’s another word:
Depravity. Depraved indifference to human life.
I didn’t seek out this Xweet — I came across it by reading Imshin, who documents “the Gaza you don’t see” (i.e., thriving and fat off subsidies).
I avoid that “Gazawood” account because (before this) I thought it made light of suffering. And I was going to write something about that. I acknowledge that the “Palestinians” have suffered and are suffering (even if they brought it on, it’s still suffering), and I don’t welcome it.
I would rather it not happen, because it’s not in my interest to have them suffer. I think I’ve been honest that I’ve been skeptical about this war. I didn’t think it would accomplish its stated goals, because both goals (to destroy Hamas and to retrieve the hostages) were antithetical, so Bibi was really using the latter issue to accomplish the former, and that wasn’t going to happen. And it didn’t. Hamas is still there. I thought the best way to handle Hamas was to starve it of funds and destroy it with black ops.
I don’t thirst for “Palestinian” blood. I don’t want revenge. I want to solve the problem. But the first step in solving a problem is recognizing what the problem is. And it’s not Hamas, or Palestinian nationalism.
It’s Palestinians.
It’s a peculiar, actually unique, combination of a religion, a twisted form of nationalism, all mixed together and spiced with endless international aid and the support of Russia and Western leftists. We can only do so much, but we can starve the beast. Abrogate their refugee status and cut off their aid. That’s a start.
Now, as to next steps, I don’t know. Will Trump’s plan ever be implemented? I don’t know either. I don’t want the “Palestinian” poison to be exported to the west any more than it already has been. That’s a huge problem.
But it’s Israel or Palestine, choose your team.
One thing I will say: I pray, implore, that Israel never sink to this level. They do a lot of things that I think are bad, which I haven’t written about because it’s wartime, but this I have no problems saying:
I realize that you’re being driven insane by a ghoulish, vile, people, but never go there. This is degradation. This is a people sunk in depravity.
My challenge is how to hate without turning into a shell of myself.
Few times in my life have I felt such hatred towards people like Hamas and Gazans. They have given up their right to exist. It makes me mad that I let evil like this influence my feelings so negatively. I want Gaza carpet bombed into sand.
The Grand muftis of Dubai and Saudi condemned the satanic show put on by Hamas today.
