No idea. I've thought for a long time that Obama was the eminence grise behind the White House, the Wizard of Oz pulling the levers. He actually said after his last term that ideally he'd continue to run the country from his basement, sitting at his computer in his pyjamas, and I suspect that's what he's done--with disastrous results. Of course we can't be sure. No one actually knows who is running the country! It's insane. Most of my best friends are Democrats, and not one of them has been willing so far to answer me on this. How is it possible that anyone could vote for a woman whom we know deceived the people about the mental health of the president? It makes no sense to me at all.
I'm a former 'progressive liberal democrat' who at 68 yo realized the Dem establishment was irretrievably broken, corrupt and autocratic. I held my nose and voted for Trump because the smartest, most ethical people were on board with him - RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard and JD Vance.
Great post, Diana. I'm with you on all this.
It’s really interesting how much insanity there is on Xitter right now about Kamala and how she was chosen.
I’m open to rational refutations of my scenarios. But what I read there is craziness - and I’m talking about pro-Trump people.
It’s weird. None of them want to acknowledge that Kamala was Manchurian Barbie. I wonder why they are so resistant to that idea.
