Absolutely! I was a Green Card holder before becoming a citizen, and I was acutely aware of ALL these restrictions/rights/limitations/etc. ANY green card holder who is in this country for legit reasons does. Khalil and the individual who challenged you are both idiots.

They're making noise - pounding the table - to influence public opinion. That will be of no consequence in a hearing.

You are right. Unfortunately, their noise is polluting so many minds. Even us, instead of dealing with real, important, personal issues, or simply living our lives in peace, are forced to spend our time blocking this noise or countering their idiocy. Maybe they are also counting on us getting tired and giving up, so thank you for continuing to be a voice for the rest of us, who can't.

But anyone who denies the difference between a green card holder & a citizen is pounding the table.

Nicely done! And helpful for thinking this issue through (including for myself!)

I would just say that not everyone opposing (or at least questioning) the deportations is a leftist or "Anti-Israel." I'm wondering about them. And I'm very much a Zionist; and don't regard myself as a "Leftist."
