When I heard Trump's idea about Gaza I thought it was great too. Without Trump we all know what would/will happen. International Aid orgs would rebuild the Gaza, the Hamas people would go back in. Shortly after they'd start shooting rockets into Israel, then the Israelis would bomb them back, and on and on and on.
Trump's idea, despite the scoffing by Trump-hate morons, is great. Turn it into the Riviera of the Mediterranean. (I think Beirut was that until the Muslims ran the Christians and others out and turned it into a no-man's land of rubble.)
That's exactly what happened in Beirut. A tragedy. I think the problem with the Gaza idea was that Trump presented it as solely American show with soldiers on hand. That got the backs of America Firrsters, of which I consider myself one, up. That stuff can be worked out..
Yes, Trump could start some kind of Investment corporation to get funds, an international corporation. My other idea for President Trump, if he's on Substack, is: Put all the rubble on ships and sail it out into the Med 20 or 30 miles, then dump it all in the same spot, to create a reef for fish. I can see the Marinas already, dotting the coast. Americans, Israelis, Arabs, French men, Englanders, Japanese and Chinese millionaires, congregating in the lounges of the Great Gaza Hotels, talking about what bait works best for what fish, where the best hookah lounges are, the best belly dancers, investment funds, base ball junior leagues needing funding. I'm saving my money to go when it's all done. Seriously, Trump could probably make it happen within four or six years.
